The eastern vacation apartment on the 1st floor is pleasantly large for 2-3 persons with 60 m2 and a balcony. A fourth person also has room, but then the space in the parlor becomes smaller.
The apartment will be carefully restored and more comfortably furnished between January and June 2023. The photos are still from the previous state and will be replaced as soon as the new furnishing is done. We are already looking forward to the new solution and believe that we will be able to offer you an even nicer stay in the new apartment from mid-June.
The living room contains dining table with 3-4 seats, sofa bed for 1-2 persons, simple music system, tiled stove, central heating, internet connection. The windows face north and east.
Bedroom: 1 small room with french double bed 160x200cm, closet, mirror and luggage rack.
Kitchen with dining table for 4 people, hob, combi microwave grill, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine (without coffee capsules), cupboards with dishes, cooking utensils and enough empty space. From the window and dining table you can see the square in front of the town hall and in front of two restaurants with outdoor seating.
Bathroom: shower, washbasin, WC, hairdryer, bath towels
Balcony: East side with seating and plants. This part of the house faces east towards the neighbouring houses. The sun can shine on the balcony until around midday.
Attractive additional offers from three nights:
For stays of 3 nights or more, the Appenzell Holiday Card is issued free of charge and a free return train ride is provided from your place of residence in Switzerland or from the Swiss border train station. These offers are very popular and considerably reduce the price of your stay.
Number of guests:
The holiday flat offers space for 1-4 guests. Four-legged companions are also welcome here.
If there are more guests, additional rooms can be rented in the house.
Prices and general conditions
Prices in CHF (excl. visitor's tax) for the holiday apartment at 1 night), 2-3 nights etc. per night:

Final cleaning: CHF 40.- (Price is waived if you leave the apartment tidy, broom-clean, free of stains and with clean dishes. We take care of the wet cleaning of the toilet, bathroom and kitchen floor, as well as the disposal of the separately placed waste).
Included in the rental price: Bed linen, kitchen and bath towels, internet access.
Breakfast is not included, as this is a holiday apartment with its own kitchen. So you can bring your own food and buy bread in one of the many restaurants and bakeries in the immediate vicinity.
Check-in time is from 14 hrs. Check-out is until 11:00 am. Please let us know your arrival time 1-2 days in advance so that we can hand over the keys and other documents.
The guests can lock the apartment. All rooms in the holiday flat (living room, kitchen, WC, shower, balcony) are not shared by other guests of the house.
A coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer can be used outside the apartment.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, except on the balcony.

In order to complete the booking, the exact address and a deposit is usually required. We will inform you by e-mail about the amount of this deposit and the details for the bank transfer.

Cancellation of a booking up to three weeks before the day of arrival is free of charge. A shorter-term cancellation amounts to half of the rental price, but at least a daily fee, maximum 6 daily fees.
